New blog, not quite the same as the old blog

With new things come growing pains. Given Blogger's recent termination of FTP publishing, I've decided to take my blog into my own hands and onto my own server space. And I'm switching platforms, too. Welcome to the new blog, powered by Movable Type and, as you read this, probably very much under construction. It's going to look different. For a while, it's going to look broken. As I import old posts and define new style, be patient. The new blog is not the same as the old blog, but the change should give me a chance to make it better.
