To be honest, from a purely aesthetic I've never been the biggest fan of your trace-graphics. I recognize that the require a not insignificant degree of know-how to do, but they're just not really my style. This, though, is beautiful. I can only conclude that in my head, black outlines = ugly. Who knows.

To a certain extent, I agree. Heavy black lines need to be used with care, and that holds true for all media, not just vectors. They certainly do make things look a little cartoonish. Although sometimes, that can be a good thing.
