I decided a couple of months ago to use a version control system in managing my bibliography. For ease of access, good change tracking, and the ability to basically just have some cool collaborative functionality, starting a git repository makes a lot of sense. So I've started storing my TXT-based bibliography entries in a repo hosted on Gitorious.
